Welcome to Tarp City

At Tarp City, our goal is to provide you with useful tarp information such as common applications for tarps, and materials used in their manufacture. We provide news relating to tarps and the tarp industry, as well as a directory of sellers and manufacturers of tarps worldwide. Extremely durable and useful in a variety of ways, tarps are handy to have around. They can be used for just about anything, drop cloths when painting, covering your pool or vehicle. Tarps are used industrially also. They can be made of several different materials, depending on what it will be used for.

Tarps range in colors as well. Colors depend on what material the tarpaulin is made from. Poly tarps usually come in colors such as blue, white, sliver, green, orange, and brown. Canvas tarps are of colors such as white, brown and green. Mesh tarps are usually black in color. When choosing a tarp you will want to choose a material that is best suited for what you plan to be using it for. You will also want to get the best sized one for your use.

The most common use for tarps is to cover items being stored outdoors in order to protect them against weather and the elements. Firewood piles, cars and trucks, RVs, and even lawn furniture are frequently protected from mother nature using a tarp.

Tarps are also great for use when camping. Some are cut to size for use under tents to protect the tent floor. They can be used as make-shift lean-to's or as a canopy for shading or against the weather, as most tarps are waterproof or water and weather resisant. Tarps are even great for use as a low-tech and low-budget tent.

Thank you for visiting our site. We hope you find it helpful in finding the right tarp for your purpose.
